in December 2003 in Holland by friends of Carolien van Heerde,
and supports small scale projects in Guatemala in the field
of construction, education and health care.

Leven in Guatemala
The foundation ‘Leven in Guatemala’ (Living in Guatemala)
was founded in August 2003 by the housing corporation Laurentius
in Breda. In the context of "Laurentius as a housing corporation
which wants to be there also for people in Guatemala",
the foundation is a structural sponsor of Constru Casa.

The
foundation Commundo
organizes travel holidays in combination with volunteer work.
Part of the trip’s expenses is donated to the projects.
Volunteers of Commundo helped in 2004 with the construction
of four houses, in 2005 they helped with three houses and in
2006 7 volunteers helped with the construction of different
houses. In 2007 three groups of volunteers helped in the construction
of six houses for Constru Casa.
Constru Casa can deliver custom made trips for
groups of volunteers from Holland. Take a look at their website
