Foundation
Leven in Guatemala
The foundation Leven in Guatemala was founded in August 2003 by the
housing corporation Laurentius in Breda. In the context of "Laurentius
as a housing corporation which wants to be there also for people in
Guatemala", the foundation is a structural sponsor of Constru Casa.
The
foundation Leven in Guatemala has so far financed 19 houses in 2004
and more than 50 in 2005. In 2006, with the support of the foundation
we hope to construct 48 houses.

Foundation Guatemala en Construcción
The foundation Guatemala en Construcción was founded in December
2003 in Holland by friends of Carolien van Heerde, and supports small
scale projects in Guatemala in the field of construction, education
and health care.
With
the financial support of Guatemala en Construcción, Constru Casa
was able to build houses in amongst others Jocotenango, Santa María
de Jesús, Momostenango, Las Cañas, San Antonio Aguas Calientes,
Magdalena Milpas Altas and Alotenango.
Through this way we would like to thank all the donors of Constru Casa for their support!!

Foundation
Commundo
The foundation Commundo organizes travel holidays in combination with
volunteer work. Part of the trip’s expenses is donated to the
projects. Volunteers of Commundo helped in 2004 with the construction
of four houses, in 2005 they helped with three houses and in 2006 7
volunteers helped with the construction of different houses. In 2007
three groups of volunteers helped in the construction of six houses
for Constru Casa.
Constru Casa can deliver custom made trips for groups of volunteers from, for instance, companies, schools or other institutions and also for individual travelers who want to construct in a group. These trips are offered by the foundation Commundo. They have a range of standard trips in their assortment and are able to deliver custom made trips.

Constru
Casa is continuously looking for Guatemalan contributions to the project.
Firstly, we try to get a discount for locally bought materials. Secondly,
we try to raise Guatemalan funds or receive Guatemalan subsidies.
We actively approach companies and the government to make them contribute
to Constru Casa. Recently, we received the first financial donations
from individuals and companies, and we will keep on looking for other
possibilities.
The total labour and material costs of the complete 3-rooms house are on average € 2.300,-. If your company is willing to support Constru Casa, please contact us through contacto@construcasa.org. We also have special information for sponsoring available..
